Red light is the slow half: it works on how the skin looks over weeks, which is why consistency matters more than session length. EMS is the immediate half, a light micro-stimulation you can feel as you glide along the bone under the eye and out along the cheek.

Does EMS hurt?
No. It is a light stimulation, closer to a tingle than to anything sharp. If you feel nothing at all, add a bit more serum: dry skin conducts poorly.
Can I use it on the rest of my face?
Yes, that is what the second half of its name is about. The same head works along the cheekbones, the jaw and the forehead.
Do I need a special gel?
No. Your usual serum or a light moisturizer is enough to let it glide.
How soon will I see something?
The immediate effect is how the area feels and looks right after. Anything about marks or fine lines is a matter of weeks, and results vary from person to person.
Is it safe?
It uses low-level LED light, no UV, and low-level EMS. Avoid the eyeball itself and work on the bone around it. If you are pregnant, have an implanted device such as a pacemaker, a skin condition, or take photosensitizing medication, check with your doctor first.
